The Louis Le Masson and François Masson Foundation

Created on 5 May 2023 in memory of the architect and engineer Louis Le Masson (1743-1829) and the sculptor François Masson (1745-1807), the Foundation promotes artistic creation and access to culture and art by awarding grants, supporting research residencies, and organising prizes.

The Louis Le Masson and François Masson Foundation supports actions of a philanthropic, educational, scientific, social, or cultural nature in the following areas:
- artistic creation, preservation, innovation and development of the arts, in particular architecture, visual arts and sculpture;
- helping people to access art and culture;
- assisting people in their education, in particular engineering and art education;
- Art history, historical and artistic research;
- the acquisition or public exhibition of works by the brothers Louis Le Masson and François Masson, as well as by other artists, particularly their contemporaries.
